Deer Lake Clean–Up Day Postponed to May 6
Due to a poor forecast for April 29 and lingering snow and water in the ditches surrounding Deer Lake the clean up has been changed to May 6.
Many hands make light work! Come together for a day outside giving back to our beloved lake. Bring your friends, kids, grandkids, and guests.
We will meet briefly at the public boat landing at 9 am to distribute trash bags and talk about best practices. Please sign up for a section here.
If you previously claimed a section and will no longer be able to participate (it is okay to go out ahead of the new date next week) please remove your name.
You may skip the meeting and use your own trash bags and dispose of what you can, or leave trash bags and larger items on the shoulder of the road within your section. Only leave items to be picked up the week leading up to May 6.
We suggest wearing high visibility colors, boots, long sleeves and pants, gloves, and a hat.
